The Prophet Samuel and the Black Spiral Dancer Mythos.

pg 2. I wanted to create my own Mythos. Such as H.P. Lovecraft has done with his stories of the “Great Old Ones” and aliens, such as the “Elder Things”, with sporadic references to other miscellaneous deities (e.g. Nodens). In this little story I’m splicing together ancient Sumerian Mythology with Judaic religious stories.

I am the prophet Samuel (though I am by no means a prophet). I liked the idea of taking on this character who becomes a leader but is still afflicted with the lycanthropic curse. I guess that means I was combining an ancient greek myth into this story as well. There is no time-lapse for this image but it was created using the Wacom Cintiq 24HDcPen and Touch . Not sure if they still make those, but here is a later model tablet. The Wacom Cintiq 27QHD. Much more portable than my one.
